Creepiest experiments ever done in human history.

Image
Alexis St. Martin was a fur trader who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. A shotgun had accidentally been shot at him. Doctor William Beaumont was quickly called to inspect the wound. The shotgun had ripped a hand-sized hole into St. Martin’s stomach. Beaumont attempted to repair the wound with no success. St. Martin could not eat without the food spilling through the hole in his stomach; he was forced to be fed through anal injections. That’s when Beaumont's curious mind took over. There was a living stomach for him to experiment on. At the time, it was debated whether the stomach digested food mechanically or chemically. Beaumont could find out. Beaumont began spooning food into St. Martin’s stomach only to dig it out later. Beaumont would dangle meat on a string into the hole and then pull it out to observe. Beaumont performed more than 200 experiments over the next 10 years on St. Martin. St. Martin chose to go through the experiments because he was very poor, and the m...

The weird story of a girl who survived been frozen for hours.

Image
In 1980, 19-year-old Jean Hilliard was found "frozen solid" in Minnesota on a -22-degree day. After encountering car troubles, she tried to get help from her friend Wally Nelson but accidentally tripped, fell, and lost consciousness on the way to his home. Nelson, who had no idea that Hilliard needed assistance until he discovered her frozen body near his home six hours later, was sure that she had died — until he saw "bubbles" coming out of her nose. Luckily, Nelson acted quickly and took her to the hospital, where doctors were horrified by the extent of her hypothermia. In fact, her skin was reportedly so hard that it couldn't be punctured with a hypodermic needle, they broke on contact. Her body temperature was so low that it was not detected by a clinical thermometer. The medical team decided to gradually warm Hilliard's body with heating pads even though they believed she was dead. After three hours of gradually warming up her body, a faint pulse was d...

The Life Of John List: From a Banker to a Mass Murderer😳.

Image
In 1971, 46-year-old John List lost his job at a bank and couldn't bear to tell his family the truth. After a failed job search, he would later say that he had only one option: murdering his family and disappearing. He believed that without money, his family would turn away from God and therefore miss heaven. To ensure they went to heaven, he decided to murder them while their hearts were still right with God. After methodically shooting his wife, mother, and two children, List made himself a sandwich, closed all his bank accounts, and cheered for his only surviving son, John, at his high school soccer game. He gave him a ride back to their Westfield, New Jersey, home, then shot him in the chest. He slept in the mansion where his family lay dead, then walked out the door the next morning. He changed his name, relocated to Colorado, and even got married. He was arrested 18 years later and died in prison.

The greatest and worse mystery of all time?

Image
This story is one of the craziest and most absurd mysteries ever seen and known. In 1959, 69 black adolescents (ages 13 to 17) were locked inside a dormitory at the Industrial School for Negro Boys in Wrightsville. A mysterious fire occurred at night while they were sleeping. 21 of them died and 48 managed to escape by tearing the metal mesh from the windows. It is the worst fire record ever recorded in Arkansas history. The guys got engaged for a variety of reasons. Some were orphans or homeless. Others were there for petty crimes. A boy named William Piggee rode a white boy's bike despite his mother saying he was fine. "The science of crime scene preservation existed in 1959. Yet the very morning these children were murdered, they were dismantling the entire scene with hoses and rakes and shovels. They were tearing it apart as if they were trying to cover something up." ," said Frank Lawrence, whose brother (Lindsey Cross) died in the fire.

A touching story of the man who was done wrong the most by the justice system?

Image
Richard A. Jones was picked out of a lineup of potential robbers 20 years ago. He was 25 at the time and had two daughters. The problem? He didn’t commit the crime. Incredibly, he met a man in prison who was nearly identical in appearance to him and also had the same first name. Inmates kept confusing the two for each other. Richard Jones on the left and Richard Amos on the right. It turned out Amos was the one who actually committed the robberies. Richard spent 19 years behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit. He got out at 42 and is now suing for $1.2 million in damages. You can only hope he gets his money

The human who lived the most unfortunate life in the entire history of humanity?

In early 19th century Belgium, there was a boy named Adolphe Sax. At age 2, he fell out of the window of a two-story building and fractured his skull. When he was 6 years old, he accidentally drank acid. At about age 9 he fell down a flight of stairs, toppled onto a burning stove. When he was 11 years old, he contracted measles and was in a coma for 9 days. At age 14, he broke his arm and got caught in a carriage door. When he was 19 years old, a brick fell right on his head. He is on record to also have swallowed a needle. When he was 23 years old, he almost killed himself by drinking tainted wine. And at 29, Adolphe Sax invented the saxophone

The story of the naked war general. A true life story.

Image
During the First Liberian War in 1992, General Joshua Milton Blahyi would lead his troops wearing only his shoes. He says the devil telephoned him at age eleven and told him that running into battle naked would make him impervious to bullets. Sometimes he and his soldiers would also don colorful wigs and dainty purse He’s still alive. The devil also said it would be a good idea to practice human sacrifice and cannibalism to increase his power. Blahyi admits to sacrificing a small child or teenager before battles, including sometimes cutting out the heart and eating it.   Today he is the president of the End Time Train Evangelistic Ministries, and he has repented his sins, blamed the devil for his actions, and expressed a willingness to be tried for war crimes.

Teri Horton, the woman who purchased a painting by Jackson Pollock worth $50 million in a thrift store for 5 dollars. What seemed to be a worthless canvas filled with scribbles in an unused corner of a thrift shop in California in the early 90s was actually a masterpiece of American painter Jackson Pollock. She thought the painting was stupid, but wanted to purchase it as a gift to a depressed friend. The store owner wanted $8 for it. Terri refused to pay $8 for that piece of crap, and offered $5 instead. Eager to get rid of that big useless canvas that nobody wanted, the store owner sold it for $5. Later, she and her art teacher were drinking at her apartment and planning to play throwing darts on the painting. The art teacher saw the painting and warned her: “It seems you’ve got a Jackson Pollock!” “Who the f*ck is Jackson Pollock?”, she asked. So the art teacher explained to her. She then took the painting to many art experts and when it was finally authenticated, it sold for 50 mil...

How long does it take to start getting traffic to your blog or website?

Generally speaking websites can see results in 4 to 6 months. Obviously, SEO results grow over time. The traction you’re getting at 6 months typically is less than what you should be experiencing at 12 months. Why so broad? Typically that question is on a per-domain basis. The SEO results in your business is looking for (Local SEO, National SEO, Global SEO) is going to influence the types of SEO techniques that are performed on your site. In short: A local business website with 100 pages, running on WordPress, is different than a global eCommerce site, with millions of pages, running on Magento. Can we speed it up? Many factors determine how fast your SEO efforts will start delivering results. If you have a new website, new domain name and fresh content without a business history it could take a while. Sometimes up to six months before you see results. The Bump Below is a new website and cold-start domain (with no history or activity…ever). We worked on consistently for 6 months....

When did we start using fingerprints for identification?

Image
In 1903, two men with the nearly same name, Will West and William West, were sent to Leavenworth Prison in Kansas. They were not related, but they looked exactly alike. This caused confusion among the staff at the prison, who struggled to tell the two men apart. The incident at Leavenworth Prison was one of the earliest examples of the need for more accurate methods of identification. At the time, physical appearance and names were the primary means of identifying individuals. However, as the case of Will West and William West demonstrated, these methods were not always reliable. The story of Will West and William West helped to highlight the limitations of using physical appearance and names alone to identify individuals. As a result, the use of fingerprinting as a means of identification began to gain popularity. Fingerprinting had been used as a means of identification as early as the late 19th century, but it was not widely adopted. However, the case of Will West and William West h...
